Heylis Cottage Hobbies 'n' Stuff is a little different to the usual craft supplier website, please let me explain why.

I started my working life as a Saturday girl in a florist at just 15 years old & then after leaving school worked for various florist shops in Maldon, Colchester & Witham before opening my own florist business, Heylis Cottage Florist which I successfully ran for 34 years. During this time as well as floral craft, I also dabbled in a variety of other crafts such as card making, upcycling furniture which I sold in my shop.

After taking early retirement & closing the door of my florist shop for one last time, as many of you crafters & hobby enthusiasts out there will understand, I kind of accumulated rather a lot of floral sundries & accessories as well as many other crafting products such as cardstock, ribbons, embellishments & more.

This is what makes this website different. It will not be stocked with thousands of crafting products & accessories across the board which I would be continually restocking. Instead I have re-purposed & re-branded my existing website & domain to create Heylis Cottage Hobbies 'n' Stuff. Here you will find a selection of products from my "Hobbies 'n' Stuff, all new unless otherwise stated - these items will be listed in the Pre-Loved category.

You may not find an extensive range of products compared with other craft product suppliers but you may find items here that are no longer available from other companies. So please have a browse through Heylis Cottage Hobbies 'n' Stuff, you may find that perfect something that you were looking for to finish your crafting project. You will also find very competitive prices here because much of my stock is from pre-Brexit times - remember those days! So I am able to keep my prices low.

In time, I will also be adding upcycling projects & other crafts for sale, so please sign up to my newsletter & come back soon to find what is new.

I am also planning for those of you that enjoy crafting to post your items here for sale. This will be a great way for those crafters out there that don't really have the knowhow or just want a small platform in which to sell your items. I will list your items in return for a small commision fee. This new feature is yet to be set up.
